Standard Rules & Guidelines

We want to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all campers. Please take a moment to review these guidelines.

Check-In & Reservations

• Wristbands: All RISE campers receive a wristband that must be worn for the entire stay.

• Age Requirements: Campers must be 21 years or older, accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, or with an approved adult sponsor for group reservations.

• Check-In Time: Plan to arrive before the nightly front gate closure, which is 30 minutes before sunset. If arriving after closure, entry will not be possible until the next day.

• Reservation Confirmation: To hold your campsite, confirm your reservation at least 48 hours before arrival.

• Stay Limits: Camping is limited to a maximum of five (5) nights per stay. Campers must take a break of at least 14 days before making a new reservation.

• Re-Entry: When returning to the park, please stop at the Gatehouse and display your camper pass.

Campsite Guidelines

• Keep your site clean! Please remove all equipment and litter before departure to help us maintain a great experience for everyone.

• RISE management may adjust reservations or site assignments if necessary.

• The reserving guest is responsible for ensuring all members of their party follow park rules.

Changes & Cancellations

• If you need to cancel, notify RISE Adaptive Sports at least 48 hours in advance to keep future camping opportunities open to you.

Occupancy & Setup

• Overnight Stay: Up to eight (8) individuals per campsite are permitted.

• Guests: A maximum of 10 people (including visitors) are allowed at a campsite at any time. All non-registered overnight guests must leave by closing time.

• Tents & Canopies: Each campsite may have up to two (2) tents or canopies. Tents set up on grass should be relocated every 72 hours to keep the grass healthy.

Vehicles & Parking

• Drive safely—observe posted speed limits at all times.

• Each campsite allows two (2) vehicles, including trailers.

• To preserve the park, do not drive or park on the grass inside the campground perimeter. Park off the road next to the white rocks adjacent to your site.

• Display your Camping Pass at all times while in the park.

Sanitation & Waste Disposal

• Trash and recycling dumpsters are available throughout the park. If a dumpster is full, please use another nearby.

• Help us keep the park clean by sorting and disposing of waste properly.

• Campsite trash should not be placed in receptacles at the RISE Beach or RISE Pavilion.

Pets

• Up to two (2) pets are welcome per campsite.

• Pets must always be leashed and picked up after.

• Pet pens (up to 10’ x 10’) are allowed.

• Pets may not be left unattended and are not allowed in certain areas, including playgrounds, the RISE dock, and swim beaches.

Fires & Cooking

• Campfires are welcome in designated fire rings only.

• Fires must be fully extinguished at the end of the night.

• Collecting wood from the park is not allowed—please bring your own firewood or charcoal.

Alcohol

• Alcohol may be enjoyed at your campsite only.

• Glass containers are not allowed anywhere in the park, including campsites.

• To ensure a safe environment, alcohol is not permitted at the RISE water sports park, boat ramp, playground, or park roadways.

Respect for Property & Safety

• Please report any maintenance issues or damages to RISE or the Gatehouse so we can address them promptly.

• Any accidental or intentional damages may require repair or replacement at the camper’s expense.

Children’s Safety

• Drive carefully and watch for children at play.

• Children must be supervised in all dock areas, swim beaches, and playgrounds.

• Kids under 12 must be accompanied by an adult (18+) at all times in tents, buildings, or campsites.

Beach & Water Access

• The RISE Beach is reserved for RISE guests only.

• Swimming is at your own risk. No fishing is allowed from the beach May 15 – Sept 15.

• Boats are not permitted to pull up on the beach.

• No pets, glass, or fires are allowed on the beach.

• The buoyed area is for RISE Adaptive Sports guests only—boats must remain outside this area.

Dock Use

• The RISE dock is reserved for RISE guests only.

• No fishing from the dock between May 15 – Sept 15.

• Please stay off boats and equipment unless authorized.

• Personal boats may not be tied to the RISE Dock.

Day Use Area

• The Meadowmere Park day-use area closes at sunset for all visitors and campers.

• Tents are not allowed in the day-use area.

• Driving or parking on the grass is not permitted.

Personal Items & Lost & Found

• RISE Adaptive Sports and Meadowmere Park are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

• Report any missing items to the Gatehouse—found items are held for 30 days.

Prohibited Items

For everyone’s safety, the following items are not allowed in the park:
🚫 Portable or inflatable pools
🚫 Fireworks, flares, or firearms
🚫 Bows & arrows or paintball guns
🚫 Golf carts, ATVs, or dirt bikes

Respect for Staff Areas

• The resident park staff area is a restricted zone. Please respect their space by staying at least 50 feet away from staff RV sites.
