Your Stay & Reservations
Every person camping in your group is required to Join RISE.
Reserve your campsite at least 48 hours in advance.
You may request which campsite you prefer. Every effort will be taken to secure your requested site if available.
R1, R2, R3, and R4 are fully ADA-compliant. R5’s pad is ADA-compliant but is not wheelchair accessible getting to the site.
RISE campsites are free to all physically disabled participants and their groups. If you reserve a campsite and there is no physically disabled person attending the entire stay, you will be asked to leave immediately, and a fine of $250 per night may be imposed.
RISE Campsites are for Overnight camping and may not be reserved for Day-Use.
Standard Rules & Conditions
For non-emergency after-hours issues, contact the Grapevine Police Department at 817-410-8127. For emergencies, dial 911.
All RISE campers must wear wristband for entire stay.
All campers in your party must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older, with a parent or legal guardian, or with an approved adult sponsor of your organization for group camping reservations.
Campers must check in before the nightly front gate closure, thirty (30) minutes before sunset. Campers checking in after closing will be locked out of the park.
Reservations are accepted up to ninety (90) days before the current date.
Sites will not be held without confirmation 48 hours before arrival.
Maximum five (5) nights stay for all campsites.
Campers must leave the park for at least fourteen (14) days after their last stay and may not make a new reservation until having been out of the park for fourteen (14) days.
Campers must stop at the Gatehouse and display their camper pass when re-entering the park.
All guest equipment and litter must be removed from the site by departure time. Future RISE opportunities will be lost if the site is littered or in disorder.
RISE management reserves the right to change your reservation or site assignment in need or emergency.
The reserving guest’s responsibility is to ensure all camping rules and regulations are communicated to their party and adhered to.
RISE Adaptive Sports and Meadowmere Park reserves the right to terminate a camper’s reservation at its discretion for failure to follow the camping rules and regulations, and policies of the park, local, state, or federal law, nuisance to other guests within the campground or injury to person or property, or any other reason as determined by management.
Changes & Cancellations
Notify RISE Adaptive Sports at least 48 hours in advance if you are going to cancel. RISE may restrict or deny future RISE camping and activities if not notified.
Occupancy
A maximum of eight (8) individuals per campsite are permitted to stay overnight. Not more than ten (10) persons, including guests, are allowed at a campsite at any given time. All non-registered overnight patrons must exit the park by closing time.
Two (2) tents or canopies are permitted per campsite. Any tent or canopy set up on grass may not remain in the same location for a period longer than seventy-two (72) hours to protect the health of the grass.
Vehicles & Parking
Observe posted speed limit at all times. Two (2) vehicles are allowed with campsite reservations. A trailer counts as a vehicle in your vehicle count. Parking or driving on the grass inside the campground perimeter railing is strictly prohibited—park off the road next to the white rocks adjacent to your campsite. Camping Pass must be displayed at all times in the vehicle.
Sanitation
Trash and recycling dumpsters are provided throughout the park for solid waste disposal. If a dumpster is full, please use one of the other dumpsters provided. Please be conscientious with your waste—separate and dispose of trash and recycling appropriately. NO campsite trash in waste receptacles at the RISE Beach or RISE Pavilion.
Pets
Maximum two (2) pets are permitted per campsite. Pets must always be kept on a leash and picked up after. Pet pens are allowed with a maximum size of 10’ x 10’. Pets may not be left unattended at your campsite. Pets are not allowed in playgrounds, RISE dock area, beaches, or Meadowmere Park swim beaches.
Fires
Campfires are permitted in fire rings only. Open-ground fires are strictly prohibited. All campfires and cooking fires must be extinguished at the night’s end. Collection of wood in the park for campfires is strictly prohibited and unlawful. Firewood is NOT provided, bring your own wood or charcoal for cooking.
Alcohol
Alcohol consumption is permitted at your campsite only. Glass containers are strictly prohibited anywhere in the park, including the guest’s campsite. Alcohol consumption is prohibited at the RISE water sports park, boat ramp, playground, and park roadways. Any alcohol-related issue is grounds for immediate removal from the park.
Damages
You are responsible for any intentional or accidental damages. Repair or replacement of damaged property will be billed to the camper accordingly. Report damages or maintenance issues to RISE or the Gatehouse immediately so we have time to make repairs for you or the next guests arriving.
Children Safety
Observe posted speed limits and watch out for children at play. Children must be supervised on all docks, swim beaches, and playgrounds. Children under twelve (12) are not to be left unattended in any tent, building, or campsite at any time and must be accompanied by an adult age eighteen (18) or older.
Beach Use
RISE Adaptive Sports beach is for RISE USE only. If you are a RISE guest, you may use the beach. Swim at your own risk—no fishing from the beach from May 15 through September 15. No boats can be pulled on the beach at any time. No pets allowed, no glass allowed, and no fires on the beach.
Restricted Water Access
No boats within the RISE Adaptive Sports restricted area. Boats must stay out of the buoyed area.
Dock Use
RISE Adaptive Sports dock is for RISE USE ONLY. If you are a RISE guest, you may use the dock. No fishing off of the Dock from May 15 through September 15. Stay off of all boats and equipment. No personal boats may be tied to the RISE Dock at any time. No boats within the buoyed area.
Day Use Area
Meadowmere Parks day use area closes at sunset for both day-use guests and overnight campers. Tents are not permitted in the day-use area. No parking or driving on the grass.
Personal Items
RISE Adaptive Sports or Meadowmere Park is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Report any missing items to the Gatehouse. Found items are held at the Gatehouse for thirty (30) days.
Prohibited Items
The following items are prohibited from the park: portable or inflatable pools, fireworks, flares, firearms, bows & arrows, paintball guns, golf carts, ATVs, and dirt bikes.
Resident Park Staff Area
Overnight campers and day-use guests are strictly prohibited from entering the resident park staff area east of the Gatehouse or within fifty (50) feet of a park staff RV site under any circumstances. Failure to do so will result in immediate removal from the park.
